Universal Studios Hollywood

So quite randomly,
we decided to visit Universal Studios Hollywood.
The general admission price is the same as an annual pass's price,
so it's pretty cool.
And I foresee us going back there a few more times!
Cannot waste ma.. :D

Lunch at Chinatown.

Where we met this cute family from Penang.
When the Uncle knew we were from Malaysia too,
he so kindly gave us his contact number,
asking us to contact him should we have any problems.
*Faith in humanity restored meme*
LOL
It felt warm and nice la.

Oh ya, say Hi to Sisi and her boyfriend!
They were the reason why we randomly decided to go to USH! Haha.
Thanks for being awesome tour guides! :)

You can never please girls.
Sun too bright, they complain. Bad for skin wat.
Sun not bright, they complain. Bad lighting for pictures.
Haha. So basically that was what happened that day,
the cloudy-ness made all the pictures kinda gloomy :(

# The welcome sign!

# Just to show you how gloomy it really was..

Nice pictures after this are edited and filtered.
Haha. Just so you don't assume that the sun came out after this.

# Group pic before entering.

# Hard Rock Cafe

# The must-take-pic-with signs

# This is like the perfect picture for foreveralone. LOL

# The halloween themed decoration. Which I dun like. >.<

# Us and our annual passes!

Our first stop was a show.
The Water World Show i think. Kinda forgot the name.
Haha. You can try googling it.
To be frank, it was so so only.
I thought the one at Bangkok (forgot what show again!) was better. Haha.

I thought the best part of the show was the picture-taking session.
Unlike other shows I've been,
no one actually queued up to take pictures lehh!
So we kinda had them all to ourselves.

Oh did I mention that most of the cast members appeared in some kind of shows before.
Some were from like CSI or NCIS or something of that sort.
Can rub shoulders and take pics with celebrities!
Although I don't know who they are. LOL

(btw, now we all know its called water world)

Next up is the famous Backlot Tour.
This is a must!
Basically they bring you around to the exact studios and sets that they use for movies/shows/series.
And if you're lucky you'll see the actual filming.
We weren't that lucky la, but still it was very very fun!

# 3D glasses for Kingkong + Jurassic Park. This 5D animation ride is the bomb! BEST ONE EVER!

# Our guide for the ride. Super 爱演 one.. 少一点爱演都不行 hahaha..

If you think these looks familiar,
its because you've probably seen them a thousand times.
These were used in may movies such as Bruce Almighty and so on..

Another interesting demonstration.
So this is how all the cars drift in Fast & Furious. *smirk*

# Fake rain. Flash flood!

I kinda like this the most.
Haha. Destructive.
Its called the crash-site.
The dead people / zombies are additions for Halloween.

Desperate Housewives!! Not a fan but I guess most of you are..

Last stop at USH!
As you can see, we din get on a lot of rides.
Who cares, its an annual pass anyway! Heeh.
Candy store. Me likey!

# Rainbow M & Ms..

And that concludes my first visit to Universal Studios Hollywood.
Any Universal Studios actually,
haven't been to the one at Singapore. *failed*

More to come.
Have a sweet sweet weekend everyone! :)
